As a multi-sport athlete, Aaron DeGraffe developed his love for fitness and hard work at a young age. He attended Fordham University in NYC, where he balanced a rigorous academic schedule with a demanding training regimen as a member of the schools’ Div. 1 Track & Field program. Aaron graduated in 2007, receiving his B.A. in Communications and Media Studies; he also had notable athletic achievements, earning the School Record in the Triple Jump event, as well as being named the 2004-5 Atlantic-10 Conference Indoor & Outdoor Triple Jump Champion. DeGraffe has worked in the fitness industry for 5 years, and is influential and impactful as a trainer, group exercise instructor, coach, and motivator. Among his certifications & specialties: NASM & AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Excercise, ISCA Kickboxing Cert (Rd. 1 & 2), Annette Lang’s “Training the Pregnant and Postpartum”, Kettelbell and TRX Suspension Training. Known for his intense training style and flair for creativity, Aaron strives to get the most out of his client’s by providing focused and integrated training programs. Ahmed Yilla is a certified personal trainer with over 7 years of experience in the personal training fitness arena. He began his career as a trainer with New York Sports Club, where he established himself as one of their elite trainers and excelled to become a Master Trainer. In addition to being a leader in the fitness profession, Ahmed is an accomplished and decorated athlete. Training under the Peter Westbrook foundation, Ahmed competed on the prestigious national and international Men’s Sabre Fencing Circuit. As a result, in 2000, he was selected as a member of the USA Men’s Jr. National Team to represent USA in the Men’s Sabre World Championships where he placed in the top 16 in the world. Ahmed has also been accredited as one of the “Top 100 Trainers” in the Town Sports International Corporation (parent company of New York Sport Club)- a company of over 1,500 fitness trainers in over 150 sports clubs throughout the nation. Ahmed has used his experience as a fitness trainer and as an athlete to develop a unique training method. His approach is to train clients as athletes, providing powerful results regardless of fitness level. Ahmed’s client base ranges from general population clients to seasoned competitive Olympic bound athletes such as 2008 Olympic silver medalist Keith Smart, 2012 World Champion Ben Bratton and Olympian Nzingha Prescod. His training incorporates targeting muscle groups necessary for everyday activities, which improves flexibility, speed, and agility while increasing strength and endurance. His training regimes are developed specifically to meet the particular goals of each client. Ahmed holds several certifications including National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)-CPT, NASM-PES as well as specialized certifications in Performance Enchancement. Leveraging his degree in Psychology from St. Francis College, Ahmed is also able to increase the motivation and enhance the performance of his clients for peak results.
